Sorry I've been slacking on these, but been really busy with freelance projects. On this day we went to 'Tegan and Sara' and afterwards realized we need to do our food of the day... so good thing Carl's Jr (Hardees on the east coast) and McDonalds are next to each other!

I did a 2 parter since I decided to eat this caramel nut covered apple around midnight! talk about killing 2 birds with 1 stone!

OH BOY... its October 14th...
After searching high and low, there's this freaky goth store on Melrose that carried a bunch of edible bugs. I walked into the store and giggled at all the weird freeze dried and stuffed animals.

As I bought the little bugs, I striked up a conversation with the store owner about how today in Chocolate Covered Cricket Day and this is the only place in LA I could find them... she said "Wow, I'll make millions today!"

So heres what they look like...

I didn't mind them, it kinda tasted like a Kit-Kat bar. So I had 2 of them...
Now Jen was alittle worried...
Somehow I got her to try a little piece, as she gagged...
