After searching high and low, there's this freaky goth store on Melrose that carried a bunch of edible bugs. I walked into the store and giggled at all the weird freeze dried and stuffed animals.As I bought the little bugs, I striked up a conversation with the store owner about how today in Chocolate Covered Cricket Day and this is the only place in LA I could find them... she said "Wow, I'll make millions today!"
So heres what they look like...
I didn't mind them, it kinda tasted like a Kit-Kat bar. So I had 2 of them...
Now Jen was alittle worried...
Somehow I got her to try a little piece, as she gagged...

That's pretty funny. I imagine that eating those things requires a lot more mental strength than physical. I'm really enjoying your month of food posts.
